I'm an International Relations major at CU but I've also spent a full year studying abroad at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Tsinghua is the top university in China and I perfected my spoken Mandarin as well as mastered Chinese writing, reading, and my understanding of Chinese culture. I've lived in China for over four years, with three years in Guangdong (making me fluent in Cantonese as well) and a year in Beijing.
Experience
I obtained an exceptionally high score on the HSK (Chinese language efficiency exam), which is only administered in Asia and is the exam used for evaluation of all Mainland Chinese employers. I've also studied Chinese intensively at Tsinghua University for an entire year. Tsinghua is the top university in all of China and its program allowed me to be obtain language and cultural skills that helped me blend in like a native. It's safe to say that I possess a comprehensive understanding of traditional Chinese culture and history.

I really have a passion for the Chinese language and culture and I can't wait to help pass on this knowledge to someone else that shares this interest. I love traveling and I've been all over Asia including China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, etc. But I still find China and its dynamic culture the most fascinating!
